Network of European Dupal Associations

NEDA facilitates meetings for the local Drupal Associations and regional initiatives in Europe to share experiences and explore ways to support each other with knowledge and other resources. Through NEDA, multiple initiatives and workgroups have formed to strengthen Drupal and the Drupal community in Europe.

NEDA collaborates with the DA in the workgroup to set up a new global governance structure for Drupal Associations. Two leaders of local Drupal communities have been chosen by the community to take seat in the workinggroup on behalf of the European: Marine Gandy and Joris Vercammen

The NEDA meetings are predominantly aimed at European friendly times to cater to the associations on the continent Europe, but all Local Drupal Associations, Drupalcamps and Drupal User Groups worldwide are welcome to join.

We have a meeting once a month, alternating between an open slack meeting and online meetings.

So let's meet up!

La_eu Site Project. A Shared Website Platform

La_eu is a shared, open source Drupal codebase built specifically for local Drupal associations. Using this shared foundation, any association can set up a modern, professional website and adapt it to their own needs, without building from scratch or maintaining a solo codebase alone.

Rather than reinventing core functionality every time, associations start from a solid base that is actively developed and maintained by a European community of peers.

Take a look at our Finances on Open Collective

The Network of European Drupal Assocations runs on transparency. Not just in how we collaborate, but in how we handle money. That is why we manage our finances through Open Collective, a platform built for exactly the kind of community we are: cross-border, volunteer-driven, and rooted in open source values.

Every euro that comes in and every euro that goes out is publicly visible, in real time, to anyone who wants to look. No board approval needed to check the books. No annual report to wait for. Just open finances.
