Suomen Drupal-yhdistys - Finland

Platinum Partner

Suomen Drupal-yhdistys is the Finnish Drupal Association, representing Drupal users, organisations, and developers across Finland. Founded as a non-profit and run entirely by volunteers, the association is governed by a board of up to six members who commit for a period of one year with the shared goal of promoting Drupal in Finland.

The association's website, drupal.fi, is built on the La_eu shared codebase, making Finland one of the founding participants in that collaborative infrastructure project.

What they do

The Finnish association organises events, supports the local Drupal community, and keeps the Finnish Drupal ecosystem connected to the wider European and global community. Their flagship event is DrupalCamp Finland, held annually in Helsinki. The camp runs a full day of community presentations, both technical and non-technical, and consistently draws around 100 participants from Finland and the broader Nordic and Baltic region.

The camp has grown beyond Finland's borders in recent years. In 2024 it expanded into DrupalCamp Finland + Baltics, an explicit collaboration between the Finnish and Baltic Drupal communities, with a contribution day alongside the main programme. The 2026 edition is planned for 8 May in Helsinki and continues in this spirit of open, cross-border community building.

Membership

Joining the Finnish Drupal Association is straightforward. Annual membership costs €15. Membership is free for students.
