Drupal Austria
TheVerein zur Förderung und Unterstützung der Opensource-Software Drupal, or Drupal Austria, is the Austrian association for everyone working with or interested in Drupal. It was founded during the organisation of DrupalCamp Vienna 2009, and has been supporting the Austrian Drupal community ever since.
The association serves as a central point for Austrian Drupal users, developers, agencies, and organisations. Its website, drupal-austria.at, functions both as a community hub and as a practical resource: showcasing Austrian Drupal projects, connecting people with local service providers, and keeping the community informed about events.
What they do
Drupal Austria works to grow and strengthen the regional Drupal community and to support a broad, high-quality ecosystem of Drupal services in Austria. A particular focus is placed on events and projects. The association has organized multiple editions of DrupalCamp Vienna, in 2009, 2013, and 2015, and continues to facilitate community gatherings and meetups. All income from membership fees and sponsorships is reinvested directly into community events and non-commercial projects such as Drupal information materials and promotional resources.
The association also maintains a directory of Austrian Drupal providers, including developers, consultants, themers, and trainers. Making it easier for organizations looking for Drupal services to find the right partner locally.
