Drupal в Україні
The Drupal Ukrainian Community is a non-profit organisation of Drupal developers, users, and enthusiasts across Ukraine. The community operates on the basis of a publicly available community constitution, published on GitHub, and is active across multiple channels including Telegram, Facebook, and Drupal.org. Their website is drupal.ua.
Drupal has a particularly strong presence in the Ukrainian public sector: it is widely used by government bodies, educational institutions, and local authorities, partly because it meets the legal requirements for official websites and performs reliably under heavy traffic.
Events
The community has continued to organise in-person events. Lutsk, known within the Ukrainian Drupal community as the Drupal capital of Ukraine, has hosted a Drupal Code Sprint as part of the annual Global Contribution Weekend without interruption, reaching its eighth consecutive edition in January 2024. These sprints are open to developers of all levels and run with mentored contribution tracks alongside sessions and networking.
In August 2024, Lutsk also hosted an in-person Drupal 11 Release Party, bringing the community together to explore what the new major version means for their projects.
Drupal Day in Vinnytsia is a separate annual conference where developers, businesses, and community members share experiences, present case studies, and build professional networks.
