Drupal Italy
The Italian Drupal community has been active for many years, connecting developers, agencies, site builders, and Drupal enthusiasts across the country. Its home online is drupal.it, a community platform that serves as the central meeting point for Italian Drupal users: a place for support, documentation, job listings, project showcases, and community discussion.
DrupalCamp Italy
After years of local meetups and the DrupalDay event series, the Italian community relaunched national Drupal events in 2025 with the first edition of DrupalCamp Italy. Held on 14 November 2025 at the Sapienza Conference Center in Rome, the event brought together around 150 members of the Italian and international Drupal community for a full day of technical sessions, case studies, and networking. Topics included Drupal 10 and 11, AI in Drupal, migration from Drupal 7, accessibility, performance, and security. A dedicated contribution room ran throughout the day alongside the main programme.
The momentum continued: DrupalCamp Italy 2026 is planned for 22 October 2026 in Bologna, with an early bird call for papers and sponsorship already open.
DrupalCamp Italy is organised entirely by community volunteers and describes itself simply as: by the community, for the community.
